Subject: RE: [sdo] Groups - OASIS SDO TC Weekly Teleconference modified

Hi Ron, everyone,

I will pleased to present the current DAS Group thinking about Keys during our next meeting.

It will be pretty short for presenting a document because I'm still working on it for the DAS TC but for sure I can explain the main concepts.

Best Regards,

II - Issue 124: Algorithms for serializing data graphs without containment

Last E-Mail: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sdo/email/archives/200804/msg00085.html
Oracle's Proposal: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sdo/download.php/27956/SDO-EnterpriseDataModel.doc
(former) Xcalia's Requirements: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sdo/download.php/26723/Containment%20in%20SDO%203.ppt

I'm not sure how far we are from agreement, since there's been very little email traffic. Is there a chance to accept the proposal in the latest email?

III - Key Concept from the DAS WG

The DAS WG is close to consensus on the representation of Keys (but they are not sure if the keys should be part of SDO or "local" to the DAS. This might be a good time for to look at the current thinking, and perhaps provide some feedback, one TC to another.

I realize it's short notice, but would it be possible for someone from DataDirect present the current thinking of the DAS WG? If not, we can always move on to:

IV - ISSUE 5: Defining SDO types by JAVA types Last Email: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sdo/email/archives/200804/msg00039.html
