Hello,

I have been reviewing the OASIS Search Web Services TC charter and
related artifacts and I believe that there are a lot of synergies with a
similar effort myself and a group of other OASIS members are involved
in.  Specifically, we have been discussing the idea of starting a
notional Data Services Framework TC that intends to focus on addressing
information sharing issues in a networked environment.  I have attached
the strawman charter that we have put together and the presentation on
Data Services that I gave at the 2007 OASIS Symposium.  If this seems
interesting you, perhaps we could coordinate a phone conference to
discuss how these two initiatives might work together to meet both of
our groups goals.
