For discussion at next Thursday's meeting (January 3). Please note in
particular the following changes:

- Changed the "Description" column to "Description/Reference", and cut down
the description to a bare minimum, instead pointing to a (new) section that
describes it in more detail

- changed the abstract parameter name for Query from "query" to
"searchTerms" and for "Start Record" from "startRecord" to "startIndex". 
Left the actual name as is. I did this for compatibility with openSearch.


- See new section 1.2, "Discovering Parameter Names". 

- See 3.2 "Query".

- See 3.7 "Number of Records" which goes into detail on how to extract the
value from the response.   The intent is to treat the other parameters
similarly but I only had time for this one (and used mostly what Ashley
provided).
