Mary -  We are under the impression that these documents can become
"Committee Drafts" without going the further step of "Public Review" at this
time.

It is not that we want to suppress review, rather, we hope that we can
publish this first set of documents without a conformance clause. (I thought
we had this discussion a month or two ago.)  By our reading of the
procedures,  a "Committee Draft" does not need a conformance section. A
"Committee Draft for Public Review" does.

Once these documents become Committee Drafts we will want to ask for review
by targeted communities, most particularly, the SRU Implementor Group, and
it is our intention that they documents be public for any other group that
wants to review them. Subsequently, we would submit them officially for
public 60-day review.

Is our understand of this process correct?  If so, all we are trying to
accomplish is to move these documents to Committee Drafts (not public
review) at this time,  so I need to know only what I have to do to
accomplish that.
