Minutes:
Present: Ralph, Larry, Ray, Kerry, Nick


1. Facet request parameters. 

- Use colon (":") instead of asterisk ("*") as delimiter. 
As in "facetLimit:dc.subject" instead of "facetLimit*dc.subject"

- drop "occurrence"

2. Change $accept to http:accept, as discussed in the email thread on this topic.  Also incorporate the other http  accept headers: Accept-Charset, 
Accept-Language, and Accept-Encoding.

3. Scan
Ralph will draft a data model.   Ray will draft a diagnostic model, and will revise the processing model.
The extraRequestData parameter is wrong, will be corrected. 

4. Explain
No progress since last call. Ralph and Janifer will collaborate. 

5. OpenSearch

- We will send our facet draft to the OpenSearch list, along with the original spec from OCLC.

- Janifer will draft a document describing the deficiencies of OpenSearch, relative to SRU, including next steps, and positive opportunities. 

- We need to analyze to what extend the description documents  - OpenSearch and SRU - need to be compatible. 

6. Description Language
Perhaps we will leave the description language to "phase 2", and not try to do it as part of the current work.

7. CQL
Ray will prepare a first draft.
