141: This should discuss how to include a quotation mark in a quoted search term --- currently this is explained at 342, but the explanation there is out of place. Backlash itself needs to be backslashed inside of quotes. The presentation of masking rules at 614 is independent of this requirement: these rules apply to unmasked as well as masked search terms.

226: "as such its value is undefined": better "server-specific"

308: Does the assignment of a short name to a URI persist across multiple queries? (It shouldn't.)

382: "'support' means that it must support": circular --- "must execute"

387: Shouldn't there be a conformance level for supporting all of CQL, as opposed to merely parsing it?

416: "returned by the server in the 'resultSetId' parameter of the searchRetrieve response" > "returned by the server, e.g. in the 'resultSetId' parameter of SRU".

420: "The semantics of resultSetId with scan is also undefined": delete, SRU 1.2-specific

450: Meaning of "=": "For a string term, either 'adj' or '==' as appropriate for the index as term". Is this covered in Explain?

682: "name=jones prox/container=author date=1950" : you'll need to explain how an index like author can have the internal structure necessary to realise this query --- although any such internal structure is presumably stripped out of the CQL index.

1135: Biblio Context set and Biblio examples should be in the same annex: they cannot be read independently.
