use of applicaiton/sru+xml for SRU 1.2

Recent (brief) discussion  on the SRU list about application/sru+xml has me thinking,  we have tailored the SRU response schema strictly for SRU 2.0, and clearly the discussion on the SRU list (perhaps unwittingly) had 1.1 or 1.2 in mind.  

 

I see no reason why we shouldn't produce a schema that supports both. I propose that we add the 1.1/1.2 element to the schema (e.g. version, operation) optional, with commenting indicating for each element for which version it is appropriate.    Most of the new (2.0) elements are optional anyway.   If we do this we need to tweak the schema a bit more but I think it's worth it since we are going to all the trouble of registering the media type.
