Subject: Following Up On 2.0 Schema

Hi:

I just wanted to follow up on my posting from the weekend about stability of
the 2.0 schema [1], something we didn't discuss as such on Monday. I'm sorry
to press but we are going to need to make some decisions locally in the next
few days.

We would like to use the 2.0 schema specifically for facets support but
there are still some outstanding questions:

    1. General (more or less) stability

    2. Namespaces

    3. recordPacking, vanishing of - see other mail [2]

I realize that #1 is as long as a piece of string, that #2 is still
undecided but we can always use provisional URI names, and #3 is a more
major concern for me. (I also know we have no WSDL for this yes but that's
not an issue for REST clients, is it?)

Any light that anybody could share would be extremely helpful as I do need
to go ahead with this next week due to resource issues.

Cheers,

Tony
