Subject: RE: application/sru+xml media type registration
Hi Alexey - I am nearly 100% confident that the answer to the question (about backward compatiblity) is yes. However the OASIS committee is holding a conference call this coming Monday Morning (January 10) so I may as well wait until then and take the opportunity to discuss this briefly with them then. And I can get back to you sometime Monday, most likely before noon. Thanks. --Ray > -----Original Message----- > From: Alexey Melnikov [mailto:alexey.melnikov@isode.com] > Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2011 2:57 PM > To: Denenberg, Ray > Cc: 'Peter Saint-Andre'; 'Sean Turner' > Subject: Re: application/sru+xml media type registration > > Alexey Melnikov wrote: > > > Ray Denenberg, Library of Congress wrote: > > > >> Hi Alexey - > > > > Hi Ray, > > Hi Ray, > > >> We very much want application/sru+xml to be included in the media > >> types we are registering. > >> The issue would be the stability of the xml schema that the media > >> type refers to (and not the stability of the entire SRU protocol > that > >> we are > >> standardizing) right? > > > > I thought they are the same?
