Subject: RE: Assertion Validation Service
Currently we are working to put together an activity proposal, however I can't see that activity completing in the scope of SAML even if accepted. Since any standardized XKMS would be based on XP rather than SOAP it could not terminate earlier in any case. It is however likely that a 1.2 draft of XKMS will appear as a note at some point in the near future to reflect necessary adjustments discovered in the interoperability testing currently taking place.
