Request to join Security Services TC Approved

Welcome to the Security Services TC. 

Your request to join has been processed.  Whether you requested prospective TC membership or Observer status you should have automatically been subscribed to the SSTC e-mail list and you should start seeing messages soon.

If you requested prospective membership status, a formal email will be sent to you to let you know when you get voting member status.  In the meantime, here is some information on membership status, etc.  (Please note that there are no attendance requirements on prospective members although we do encourage full participation so that you are up to speed when you get your voting member status.)

Prospective membership begins seven days after formal request for membership.  A prospective member of a TC shall become a voting member of the TC immediately following the close of the third TC meeting held during the period of prospective membership or after 60 days have elapsed following formal application to join the TC, whichever comes first.

Full Voting Membership in the TC can be terminated for inactivity.  The chair will send notice to the member who misses two out of three successive meetings or fails to participate in 80% of ballots in a 90-day period.  Unless the member attends the next meeting or participates in the next ballot after the notice from the chair, his membership in the TC will be terminated.  A terminated member may rejoin by requesting prospective membership as explained above.
