Subject: A28a.2 - Prateek Mishra to publich Use-Case for taxonomy for naming attributes
After consulting with engineering, it appears that the
following taxonomy is adequate: (a) Scope/AdministrativeDomain
(b) Attribute Name (c) Attribute Values In other words, looking at the current schema for <AttributeDesignator> in SAML 1.1, we use AttributeNameSpace to indicate the scope or administrative
domain from which the attribute is extracted. This may be a logical notion or
even the name of the directory/RDB. If an additional "format" designator describing
the attribute name is needed, the suggestion is that an additional XML
attribute be used to hold this value. Prateek Mishra p: 781-530-6564 c: 617-875-4970 |
