Subject: Type hierarchy changes in SAML schemas

Here's the type hierarchy cheat sheet I promised a few days ago. This
shows the hierarchies of the new and substantially changed types in
core-03 and core-04.

BaseNameIdentifierAbstractType (largely anyType, with attributes)
   NameIdentifierType (contains string content)
<Issuer> (a new element, directly bound to NameIdentifierType)
   EncryptedNameIdentifierType (contains element content)

RequestAbstractType
   AssertionIDRequestType
   ArtifactRequestType
SubjectQueryAbstractType (queries are now kinds of requests,
   not inside them)
     AuthenticationQueryType
     AttributeQueryType
     AuthorizationDecisionQueryType
   RegisterNameIdentifierRequestType

StatusResponseType (a directly useful base type; not abstract)
   ResponseType

Don't forget -- You should be reviewing each change-bar set of diffs,
and commenting on anything that you have a problem with! We will be
trying to get consensus around the latest drafts in the F2F this coming
week. Thanks,

	Eve

The bulk of work item W-2, Identity Federation, is now reflected here. What remains is the federation termination protocol, plus a few other pieces that are covered under other work items. OpenOffice.org and non-change-bar PDF versions are also being uploaded. Waiting for schema stability before incorporating XML instance examples.
