I can do that, I think.  The whole point of publishing the errata 
composites is to be able to show the diffs against the original 
text, but I can see why it would also be useful to show what changed 
between errata composite drafts also.  I think I'd need to create a 
dead-end branch in which I accept all the old errata changes but 
keep "alive" the most recent diffs.  Once we get a few startup items 
straightened out, the only changes from errata-n to errata-n+1 will 
be additions of whatever PE numbers are noted on the title page, so 
that may blunt the usefulness of doing a "mini-diff".

I think you're right that I didn't completely back out of the PE53 
changes (that's the danger of not sticking "[PEnn]" on every single 
discontiguous change within a single PE), but I did back out most of 
them.  Section 8.2.6 (with the weird multiple "799" lines in the 
PDF, sigh) appears not to have been backed out.  I'll certainly 
straighten all this out in rev 03.  Thanks for the catch.
