RE: [security-services] Call for a volunteer: Missing CS Version ofText-based Challenge Response

I am not sure if you are asking if creating this specification instance conforms to the TC process or if we should ask Mary to do this instead of doing ourselves.

Procedurally, I am confident that this is the correct next step and it should have happened 2.5 years ago. As far as asking Mary to do it, we can try, but my perception is that she is very backed up (for example, the Errata public review still has not been started) so I did not consider this alternative. 

Normally she only edits TC specs when she beleives that it is less work for her to do it than explain to some editor how to do it. This seems like a simple case we can handle for ourselves.

Before you spend too much time on this, perhaps you should ask tc-admin if they want to do this. Not sure if this falls under their jurisdiction at this point or not, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
