Subject: Re: [set] Groups - Generation of UBL 2.0 conformant document instances from UBL 1.0 instances using SET specifications and tools (UBL-Invoice-1.0-2.0.rar) uploaded

Dear Stephen,

Basically, the following steps are performed:

1- A UBL 1.0 Invoice ontology conforming SET-TC specifications
are generated by using SET XSD-OWL Converter tool
2- After that UBL 2.0 Invoice ontology conforming SET-TC
specifications are generated by using the same tool
3- These two ontologies are then inserted to a Description Logics Reasoner, called RacerPro, and a harmonized ontology is computed.

In the following message of Prof. Dogac, you can find the details of how to obtain and get license for RacerPro:

http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/set/email/archives/200809/msg00001.html

4- Meanwhile Predicate Logics Facts are generated by using Ontology-PL
Facts Wrapper tool
5- Then, the heuristics provided in the SET-TC Specifications are
run on the PL Facts
6- The newly asserted facts and newly computed relations in the harmonized
ontology shows the relations between the elements of UBL 1.0 and UBL 2.0
Invoice document
7- Than the example XSLT is designed with Altova's MapForce XSLT tool
by using the relations obtained. (We are currently working on the XSLT
generator tool, which will generate the XSLT definitions automatically
or semi automatically)

The steps are descibed in the "Semantic Representations of the UN/CEFACT
CCTS-based Electronic Business Document Artifacts" deliverable of SET TC
in more detail.

Thank you and best regards,
