Subject: RE: [soa-blueprints] possible ftf [was: links to implementations]

Vancouver is easier to get to than Tahoe for Bay area residents. It is
a simple 1:50 flight from SFO to YVR, vs. several hours to drive to
Tahoe. I do this several times a month. Flights are about $200.

I suggest we set up a vote now since it takes a good 3 month to arrange
a meeting including all necessary social events surrounding the meeting.

The other one would be Tahoe, which is driveable from the San Francisco
Bay Area...

Depending on the numbers, we could have an informal meet and greet at
the November 7 event in NYC...

Best,
Miko

Vancouver is only 1.5 hours from Whistler and we also offer
nightly
skiing/boarding until 10:30 PM locally (about 35 minutes from
downtown
by car). I recently set up a meeting for the SOA RM TC which
was deemed
	to be a success.

If this TC is interested in coming to Vancouver for some sushi,
skiing,
pizza, beer and work, please let me know. I can make inquiries
now.

The Opus Hotel is the venue I would chose.

Backing this up its also business review period for many of us
and Q4
	crunch...

Can I suggest we plan for a January Event (anywhere near
mountains with
snow ensures my attendance!) as its normally a quiet period.
