Andy said that Ken Wang cannot participate for several meetings due to family needs. He will be placed on Leave of Absence so his voting rights will not be affected when he returns (Bill Cox).

Old Business
Andy gave an update on the EERP project in China. The project is integrating the prototype development and standard development teams into one.  Focusing on three specifications: BQOS, Rating, Choreography, and BSLA. Substantial work has been done, waiting for translation into English, which he hopes will be finished by the next TC meeting. Committed to contributing all of these specifications, in English, to the TC. The first deliverable of this newly integrated team is the English specifications.

There will also be a prototype design specification made available in February; we are doing a prototype to inform the evolution of these specifications and contributions into the TC.

Our teams focus is not the standards work in this TC.

Bill: What are the next steps? To me BQOS is the most important, and I would like it to be the first to be worked on by the TC.

Carl: Yes, most important and most interesting.

Andy: Our government is pushing this first for services.

Bill: Split into four documents? I think theyre already separate. Do the model first, then the BQOS, then the others?

Andy: Wed like to get peoples attention on standardizing the quality description. May take many years to move forward to [say] an ISO-type standard. Starting with the exposure of services so should be as simple as possible.  Vocabulary, and the other three at a high level. Model as we come to more details.

Bill: Summarized, lets start with vocabulary, then BQOS and drive that to completion.

Andy: Great. One comment, originally the Changfeng Task Force divided into four groups, working in parallel. Perhaps very abstract and high level.

Bill: So the work plan is to look at all, then do vocabulary and BQOS first.

Carl: Have to understand the other documents.

ACTION ANDY Ensure that Hong Zhou joins the TC before calling in to a meeting.

Rex: One thing Id like to see, even in as simple a format as an outline, is a framework or skeleton, a conceptual framework into which these specifications would fit. An EERP timeline and/or outline with some brief description for why we are undertaking these specifications and how they fit into the overall EERP structure.

Bill: I agree. Thats why I started the vocabulary and model.

Rex: Timeline on how an enterprise would use these in an end-to-end fashion, and build a continuous improvement loop.

ACTION Andy Write the outline and send to the TC.

Bill: Reminder that the next meeting is two weeks from now, at the usual time (this meeting started an hour later than usual due to conflicts).
