The TC started in 2005 to develop a reference model in order to encourage growth of different and specialized SOA implementations whilst preserving a common layer of understanding about what SOA is.
The TC published the OASIS Reference Model for Service Oriented Architecture OASIS Standard in October 2006 and the Reference Architecture Foundation for Service Oriented Architecture Version 1.0 Committee Specification 01 in December 2012.
As is standard OASIS policy, the archives of the Technical Committee will remain publicly visible on TC's web site at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/soa-rm/.
The TC email list will be closed but the archive will remain available at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/soa-rm/. The comments email will remain open and will be accessible at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/soa-rm-comment/.
