It may be that we'll want to do something similar in that we need a common MEP for the action messages and a common MEP for event messages.  Perhaps the latter is simply a "notification" MEP rather than "event notification" or "pub/sub" or some other specific form of message exchange.  We'll see how this unfolds during our telecons.
