I'm not sure what it means for Communicative Action to convey Actions and Events and for the Messages that makes up the Communicative Action (through its specialization to Message Exchange) to denote those same Actions and Events.
What exactly is happening?

P.S. Severe thunderstorms through this area took down trees which took down power lines. Now personally I'm happy with the UPS in the lab rather than no power at home, but I'm expecting my family will see it otherwise. Service Interaction realizes Message Exchange (or conversely, Message Exchange is realized by Service Interaction). (Incidentally, the dashed line with the open arrow head denotes realization in the UML.)] Message Exchange is composed of one or more Messages. A Message is composed of Structure and Semantics, which are described in the Information Model. A Message is a medium of Service Interaction. A Message also represents (or denotes) Action and Event.
