Subject: Re: [soa-rm-ra] Groups - New Editors' Draft, 21 Dec 2010 - Clean (Editors'Draft-2010-12-21 (Clean).pdf) uploaded

Unfortunately, it is not all I have on Joint Action.

Read the text with attention:

3.2.4.1 Using Communication for Service Action
1150 Like communicative actions, service actions are inherently joint actions – there can
1151 be no service action without both the service and the actor originating the action.
1152 Service Action
1153 A service action is a joint action in which the participants deliver the service or a
1154 part thereof.
1155 Service actions are inherently joint actions; they require both the entity performing the
1156 action and the service itself to participate in the action

It has a repetition of " service actions are inherently joint actions".

Then, I see a logical issue here: if we understand an expression "service actions" as actions of the service itself, where the consumer came from into the service's actions? I think, we want to say that service interaction is the Joint Action because, indeed,  "– there can 1151 be no service action without both the service and the actor originating the action" However, the service's action per se may be solo (for basis services) or joint action (from combined services).
