I agree with Matt.  We should use UML for the normative definition of
the SOA reference model.  This will fit in nicely with some of the
existing data model specializations and potentially map to several EA
frameworks.

Thanks for submitting a paper.  I am in favour of using UML to define
the reference model and feel that both formal and informal definitions
can happily coexist.
