Subject: RE: [soa-rm] Collection of SOA reference model from various sources

At times I work with senior and distinguished architects/engineers from IBM and find even disagreement there about what constitutes an SOA.

And that surprises you?

Subject: RE: [soa-rm] Collection of SOA reference model from various sources

Hi Derek,

The issue we are struggling with is that there is a myriad of definitions of what constitutes an SOA RM.

Our task is to take all viewpoints and boil them down into one unified model.

At times I work with senior and distinguished architects/engineers from IBM and find even disagreement there about what constitutes an SOA.

Regards,

Wes

Hi,

I understand each of the vendor might have their interpretation of SOA-RM. I wonder should we make a collection of these RM and select the most appropriate model for standardization.

IMHO we IBM have a pretty good RM for SOA ourself. :-D
