Next F2F - Where to next?

...both literally and figuratively.

I have had 11 replies to my request for feedback, of which 8 indicated that
they would in principle be able to attend a F2F meeting in Europe this Fall
(plus 1 to join by confcall if available). Difficult to make projections
based on such a small sample, although I'm going on the basis that those
that reply are *more* likely to be the ones that would actually consider
attending...

Most of those plumped for Vienna rather than London, but the numbers suggest
to me that we ought to pause before proceeding further.

Recommendation to the TC

The options to put to the TC would be, in order,

A. Abandon hope of holding a F2F again in 2005;
B. Opt for Vienna, 12-16 or 16-19 December;
C. Opt for Vienna, 14-17 October;
D. Start looking for somewhere else, preferably for December;

I would propose: the first of the proposals above to get support from 10
members of the TC is the one we go with. If no proposal reaches that
threshold by the next confcall, option A will be the default choice.

Sorry, but I can't see another simple and quick way of resolving this.
