A watch is a good idea. You can also add an RSS feed to your feed reader. Wikipedia provides an RSS feed for every wiki history page (and an atom feed if you prefer that). Anyone can edit the page, and see its logs. I suggest putting a "watch" on the page, and regularly logging into your wikipedia page to see what has changed in your watch list. I would also be happy to transfer any "contributor" privileges to someone else if there is something that I am not able to see or do that others can. Bottom line, I should not have any advantage over anyone else regarding metadata related to our Wiki page (e.g. events such as deletion, and why they occurred). They said that one should make sure that they write good content so that it can be indexed properly by search engines. And our content is good.
