Quorum was achieved
 
Minutes: Minutes of Aug 2007 (last minutes) accepted unanimously.
 
Vote for Public review of reference architecture called for.            
Motion:  That the Reference Architecture for Service Oriented Architecture Version 0.4 be approved as a Committee Draft 
Seconded.
Vote: Motion approved - unanimously passed

• Note that a full majority, > 50%, voted approval
  

   Notes for the Public Review Draft

• There are some small gaps but not enough to affect the document
• Since this is architecture there is no need for a specific conformance requirement.  No need to change what is in there now.
• Vote was assuming changes to the TOC and date
  

Motion: That the Committee Draft for Reference Architecture for Service Oriented Architecture Version 0.4 be submitted for a public review.

Vote: Motion approved - unanimously passed
 
Motion: Authorize Duane Nickull  to act as liaison to ISO relative to submitting the RM work for ISO ratification. 
Seconded 
Vote: Motion approved - unanimously passed
 
Java 1 – Duane and Steve submit a proposal for a session on the RM an RA work.  The proposal was accepted and voted to be top submission for the conference.  Congratulations Duane and Steve.  
 
Next week’s meeting will be cancelled
