OASIS policy only covers documents approved as an OASIS Standard. As a liaison, I can make personal contributions to the discussion, but I am limited to the extent that I can say this is a "contribution" on behalf of OASIS. For completeness with the letter and intent of the OASIS process, I am proposing that I be given permission from those who have produced the SOA-RM and the SOA-RAF to, as appropriate and productive, introduce ideas and wording from those documents into the deliberations of SC38 WG2. While there would be no formal note of an OASIS contribution, I can assure you that those at the meeting will be clear that my thoughts are the combined results of much discussion over many years. Moreover, I believe the provenance of those ideas improves their credibility and the likelihood they can have an impact. If anyone has any reservations, questions, or concerns with this proposal, please get back to me (REPLY-ALL is preferred) and we will clarify or constrain, as necessary.
