Details of 10/14 discussion uploaded to Kavi as "granularity ideas per 14 Oct & 11 Nov meeting_15-11”.  Plan to continue discussion, getting more into interface granularity.  Would welcome any references giving good definition/characterization of (metrics on which can assess?) interface granularity
