The
OASIS Emergency Member Section will
present an overview of the EDXL family
of standards to include the
collaboration with HL7 for TEP/HAVE.
This presentation will focus on the
recent effort to craft a
framework-toolkit that fulfills the need
for development to aid in implementation
of the standards. We will discuss:
• Validation capabilities for all of the
EDXL Specifications, in the form of
online Validators like the Google CAP
Validator https://cap-validator.appspotcom/
• JSON Schema representations for all of
the EDXL Specifications to supplement
the normative XML Schema on which they
are based
• Binary Libraries for all of the EDXL
Specifications that support the use of
the major software development
application programming languages
through lingua-franca protocol buffers
similar to that used in the Google CAP
Validator
• Class Libraries for all of the EDXL
Specifications for the Java, Linux and
Net/C# platforms similar to the existing
EDXL Sharp Libraries https://edxlsharp.codeplex.com/
for the .Net C# platform developed a few
years ago at MITRE
• Reference Implementations for all of
the EDXL Specifications similar to the
ones being featured in this presentation
• And more ...
There is NO charge to attend this one
hour presentation and you do NOT need to
be an OASIS member. Please join us to
discuss these specifications and what
tools would be helpful for you to engage
in implementation of these emergency
management data standards.
After
registering, you will receive a
confirmation email containing
information about joining the webinar.
