I noted that I attended an NGINX Lunch n Learn, and I was contacted by one of the reps who asked if I had any questions. Um, yes indeed. I told the rep that one of the interested communities was an OASIS TC and he was very interested in getting on our calendar. So, we will have
NGINX joining our next call, 28 February.
Beyond a sales pitch, they want to know what are our questions. I led with eventual consistency of our data stores and how we consistently spin up new instances if they are independent of a master data store. We are back to someone may be able to explain what it means for a microservice to minimize what seems like an obvious dependency.
Go through your emails, etc. and help me build a list of questions they can be prepared to answer. Let’s say I would like to have your questions by COB 21 February.
