Dear W3C Officials,
On behalf of the OASIS SOA-TEL TC and OASIS Telecom Member Section Steering Committee, please find enclosed 1 Liaison Statement letter
and 2 OASIS SOA-TEL deliverables, for analysis and consideration within competent W3C Working Groups.
As written in the LS, OASIS SOA-TEL TC has identified 3 potential issues related to the utilization of W3C specifications and recommendations
(namely WS-Addressing, SOAP 1.2, possibly WS-Resource Access) within the context of “Telecoms”: such issues can be classified under the term “intermediaries handling”.
As we understand, the above specifications are in charge of W3C Working Groups (of which some in “active” state, some in “closed” state).
Hence we propose these issues to your attention in order to verify if they really are pertinent to W3C, if they really are technical issues, and if so, how and when they could be addressed.
Our deliverables are

Telecom SOA Use Cases and Issues, voted by SOA-TEL as a Committee Specification

Telecom SOA Requirements, voted by SOA-TEL as a Committee Draft, currently in Puclic Evaluation
period (will end on May 20th).
The LS letter contains all necessary references to which sections of both documents are of potential interest for W3C WGs.
