Scope/abstract/problem space <This deliverable discusses a number of issues
to provide guidance to organisations and communities wishing to consider the
use of the Dublin Core in their metadata activities. It also brings together
existing implementation guidelines from activities in Europe using the
Dublin Core Metadata Element Set, analysing and annotating these guidelines
to produce a reference document on the CEN/ISSS Web site. The result is a
CWA (CEN Workshop Agreement).

This document gives also a short description of what Metadata is, as well as
an introduction to the Dublin
Core Metadata Element Set. These definitions are based on various sources.

obtained from the various Web sites referenced.>
