This is very good news. Many thanks for your efforts in proposing this 
to JTC1. You should, if you haven't yet, pass on to them the StdsReg 
committee schedule, i.e that the public review will continue through the 
end of the year and after that point we will review the public comments 
then create and approve a final version of the specification. At that 
point the spec will be ready to submit to JTC1 SC32.

Bruce:

Is per chance the January SC32 meeting going to be held at the 
Registries conference in Santa Fe? As I'll be at the conference perhaps 
I could attend the SC32 meeting also.
