1. ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
    1.1 APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

No action was taken on the 2012-11-14 Minutes, which remain unapproved draft:

    1.2 APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Points on the agenda were followed in the non-quorate discussion:

2. TA MODEL IS AN OASIS STANDARD

The ballot of the OASIS membership succeeded.

There were some formatting discrepancies in the OASIS Standard. These apparently arose as the result of discrepancies between the templates used for the Committee Draft and the subsequent Committee Specifications and OASIS Standard documents.

The OASIS Standard documents were regenerated with the discrepancies eliminated.

In the future, it will be important to ensure that the OASIS Specification template styles are being employed in approved Committee Drafts.

3. NEXT STEPS FOR TAG TC DELIVERABLES

It is valuable to keep promoting the TA Model.

Although the TC is interested in PAS submission to ISO, there are no concerns. This is not urgent, and it remains on our path. It is important to investigate what is required for a PAS submission and then put the prerequisites in place.

4. EVOLVING THE TA GUIDELINES, NEW WORK

There are some issues on the TA Guidelines from Kevin Mooney and Stephen Green. Also, need for more examples has been expressed as important for those investigating Test Assertions for usage.

It is possible to extend the TA Guidelines Committee Note in the light of feedback. Candidates could include partially-testable normative statements and negative testing.

A suggestion is to revamp the use of JIRA and start collecting all tasks and issues against the current documents, including the TA Guidelines Committee Note. Comments on the TA Model that were not identified for application in future work should also be captured.

With regard to other future work (other TA Markup formats, JSON, YAML, etc.) it seemed advisable to be reactive and not proactive in those cases. It will depend on those with appropriate expertise to come forward.

5. FUTURE MEETINGS

With regard to workload and availability of members, it is interesting to consider moving the TAG activity to monthly meetings now. Wednesdays at 2pm seems to be a compatible time.

The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for December 19, at 2pm Pacific (5pm Eastern).

Respectfully submitted,

 - Dennis E. Hamilton
   TAG TC Secretary
