o Event model: (modeling all sorts of inputs / docs?  XML mappings such as for MIME?)
o Event management: (search / filtering vs. full queries, masking, posting)
o Script language: capabilities, openess to external processors, level of coupling.
o Ease of use / implementation, e.g. availability of a basic, easy to use "ref" implementation.
