Java code.

- AI-Feb03-1: Dale to get OK from IBM before posting more precise state
diagrams for Use Case 3.
- AI-Feb03-2: Dale/Stephen: to complete definition of Use Case #3, with
enough info to be scripted (see what is in wiki already).
