Document Description:
As per the last BASC call (July 30th), CCRA has drafted a generic matrix which members may find useful for understanding the universal functions that all tax organizations perform. The matrix outlines high level tax programs and tax processes. While it is expected that each individual organization would have different sub-functions depending on their mandate (for example, CCRA is also responsible for customs and benefit redistribution), this may serve as a good starting point for discussion. Using this matrix, CCRA mapped its own internal systems for both current state and future state (2008).
