Subject: Webcast: XBRL GL in Action at HUD/FHA -- Interoperability & Reusability (Jan 18-19)

XBRL GL in Action at HUD/FHA Interoperability and Reusability

The Federal Housing Administration (FHA), an agency of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), wants to improve its cash management and funds control processes. The current environment includes multiple steps and manually intensive reconciliation of data from disparate feeder systems. XBRL GL, the Journal Taxonomy, will be instrumental in their movement toward simplification and automation.

In this months call, you will learn how XBRL GL is being used to
Achieve interoperability between different applications through an open, non-proprietary standard
Facilitate reconciliation between summary and detailed data (and back)
Allow one-time data entry and reuse of transaction data to support downstream integration, interfacing, business analysis and reporting
Provide the potential to exchange data in a standard format with external information systems
Presented by: Gianluca Garbellotto
