Subject: Re: [tax] Upcoming Indirect Tax Conf. Call
In the invoice sent from seller to purchaser, the Canadian GST/HST makes no distinction between a large and a small business, with the single exception that very small businesses may opt out of registering to collect GST/HST. There are other specific exceptions, but none is based on the size of a business taking part in the transaction. Thus, while the tax-related elements of an invoice must be optional for GST/HST purposes, all data elements that have been identified as required for a large business are also applicable to a small business. =andrew On 10 Aug 2005 21:41:51 -0000, John.Glaubitz@vertexinc.com wrote: >This email is to serve as a reminder, for those interested, >that there will be a conference call tomorrow, Aug. 11 at >4:00 pm EST, on the Indirect Tax submission to UBL.
