Subject: Sample motion language templates now available
OASIS members, I have just loaded a new resource that I hope you will find useful. TC Admin and the TAB have developed a document with templates for 21 commonly needed motions or ballots. You no longer need to look for examples in TC minutes or ask your colleague on another TC. Just download the template document, look up your situation (for example, approving a Committee Specification with Non-Material Changes), cut and paste the template language, substitute the needed information plus any other wording you might want to add and voila: you have a motion that will meet all OASIS requirements. You can find the templates on the TC Admin homepage (https://www.oasis-open.org/resources/tcadmin) under 'Tools for TCs' or use this link: https://www.oasis-open.org/resources/tcadmin/tc-motion-language-templates The template is available in both Open Office and MS Office formats. If you have other situations that you would like to see added, please pass them along to me. And of course any other suggestions are always appreciated.
