The OASIS ebXML Messaging Services TC [1] members have recently approved a Committee Specification Draft (CSD) and submitted this specification for 30-day public review:

Specification Overview:
SAML conformance profile states how an ebMS3/AS4 MSH can support SAML in addition to the username/password and X.509 token profiles of WS-Security for authentication. The usage of the username/password and X.509 token profiles of WS-Security are defined in some detail in ebMS3 and AS4. SAML is included in ebMS3 but is not defined in detail. AS4 does not discuss SAML.
This document will define the use of SAML in ebMS3 and apply that to the scenarios addressed by AS4.
TC Description:
The ebXML Messaging Services Technical Committee designs Web Services-based messaging protocols for the transport, routing and packaging of B2B transactions.
Public Review Period:
The public review starts 11 October 2013 at 00:00 GMT and ends 10 November 2013 at 23:59 GMT.
This is an open invitation to comment. OASIS solicits feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical work.
