The OASIS Privacy Management Reference Model (PMRM) TC members [1] have produced an updated Committee Specification Draft (CSD) and submitted this specification for 15-day public review:

Specification Overview:
The Privacy Management Reference Model and Methodology provides a model and a methodology to understand and analyze privacy policies and their privacy management requirements in defined Use Cases; and select the technical Services, Functions and Mechanisms that must be implemented to support requisite Privacy Controls.
It is particularly valuable for Use Cases in which Personal Information (PI) flows across regulatory, policy, jurisdictional, and system boundaries.
This edition is a significant update to the Committee Specification approved in July 2013.
About the TC:
The OASIS PMRM TC works to provide a standards-based framework that will help business process engineers, IT analysts, architects, and developers implement privacy and security policies in their operations.
Public Review Period:
The public review starts 22 April 2016 at 00:00 UTC and ends 06 May 2016 at 11:59 UTC. Changes since the Committee Specification are highlighted in a red-lined PDF version [2].
This is an open invitation to comment. OASIS solicits feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical work.
