Subject: [tc-voting] B2B Insider
B2B Bulletin Feb, 2002
Oh2B @ SAP Following a fruitful year for SAP they have now parted company with Commerce One. Investing just enough money into Commerce One to prevent 'other interest', SAP were able to take advantage of Commerce One's hard work in developing their Enterprise Buyer whilst gaining an in-depth understanding of the full Commerce One offering. SAP are now able to implement the full Commerce One product at a fraction of the price Commerce One charge and in a fraction of the time. SAP are now gearing up a new European gathering, offering what is set to be Europe's leading B2B provider. Not that there is any real competition..... This doesn't explain why they have focussed a heap of time and near on $75,000 in trying to take two ex-employees to the cleaners. Come on C1, give it a break, focus on where your skills lie and get rid of those counter productive employees who have alternative and vindictive ambitions. Other insider information suggests that Commerce One's current release of Supply Order (Supplier PO tool) has been causing major performance degradation with Commerce One's own portal having to be re-booted every 48 hours. It would now seem all users will be asked to upgrade to the next version. A useful revenue stunt as this will require portal operators to carry out a migration excercise to MarketSite 4.6, no upgrade is possible!! That'll have the hardware suppliers rubbing their hands..... How much are you worth? (reputed salaries)
When not to trade?
