Subject: FW: BRUNEL UNIVERSITY WORKSHOP
Hi All I mentioned on the last TC call the tGov workshop being organized by the Brunel University here in UK. My submission paper has been accepted subject to some minor tinkering which I will correct. However what has only just come to light is the fact that there is a £70 registration fee to participate and make a presentation. This wasn't mentioned at the outset when I was first approached to present. Although I am very supportive of the whole TGF approach as I hope you realise, I am not inclined to pay this fee out of my own pocket. So is someone else prepared to take this over on behalf of the TC, or sponsor me? I can easily hand over responsibility the submission paper and help with the presentation slides. If not we will have to let this publicity opportunity go which would be a shame. I will need to inform the organisers about our decision by 7th March so early replies would be appreciated please. All information about the event is available at www.tgovworkshops.org Regards John Borras Chair OASIS TGF Technical Committee m. +(0)44 7976 157745 Skype: gov3john -----Original Message----- From: Muhammad Kamal [mailto:Muhammad.Kamal@brunel.ac.uk] Sent: 27 February 2011 18:31 To: johnaborras@yahoo.co.uk Subject: Notification of Acceptance Dear John Borras I am pleased to inform that your manuscript entitled [The Transformational Government Framework], has been accepted for consideration to be published in the upcoming Transforming Government Workshop 2011 CD Proceedings.
