Subject: Worked example of a TGF "Pattern"
Hi: To illustrate one of the main recommendations that I make in the slide-deck I sent out earlier – regarding the use of a ‘pattern language’ – I attach a worked example of how a single pattern might look in a future TGF standard (not the Primer). I deliberately chose as an example pattern an element from the current Primer that has many connections with other concepts and requirements: collaborative stakeholder governance. To understand the structure, see slide 8. In my example, I have dropped the ‘archetype example’ and ‘diagram of the solution’ (which may apply less to our context). If the TC agrees to take this approach, I will be happy to submit it formally as a TC contribution.
