Subject: RE: Primer update for TC meeting
Should we get to a vote today to approve both products for a further 15 Public Review, those with voting rights in addition to me at this meeting are as follows: Oliver, Peter, Nig, Andy, Gershon, Steve, Chris, Colin and Joe. Therefore the required Full Majority vote will need at least 6 voting in favour, ie more than 50% of 10. John From: Peter F Brown [mailto:peter@peterfbrown.com] John, Chris, all, I’ve incorporated the three minor changes mentioned by John and Chris in their mails of 14th and 15th Nov respectively, and checked through the document for other occurrences> The revised document is available at: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/tgf/download.php/44354 and that is the version that we should reference in any TC decision to approve. As a reminder, the only changes compared with the WD05 sent out already, are three minor edits to align the text with the Core Patterns document, which I’d missed in the main review. Cheers, Peter From: tgf@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:tgf@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Peter F Brown John, From: John Borras Peter One slight mis-alignment I’ve spotted. In the PL at line 909 we say MUST use the Policy Product Matrix etc but the Primer says SHOULD at line 337. We changed the PL at the last minute so perhaps you didn’t follow that through into the Primer? Otherwise looks good to me. John From: tgf@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:tgf@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Peter F Brown Hi, As promised in my mail of last Thursday (10 November), I am pleased to announce finalisation of a new draft of the TGF Primer. Please refer back to that e-mail for details about the process so far and the next steps. Fewer comments were made against the Primer document. However, a number of further changes have been made in order to align the text with the changes proposed to the Core Patterns document (terminology, update of figures, structure and ordering of sections etc). Attached is a .pdf version of the document showing all changes made and comments cross-referencing issues raised or alignment with the Core Patterns document. A .docx version will also be loaded to the OASIS work area, for those of you who need access to an editable version.
