Subject: RE: [tgf] POLICY PRODUCTS MATRIX - ONLINE RESOURCE
I
think that maintaining it online makes good sense. I
don’t know what the reservations are regarding doing it on the OASIS
wiki.. Sure,
it’s not the greatest tool in the world, but I would have thought
adequate.. Cheers Colin From: tgf@lists.oasis-open.org
[mailto:tgf@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Peter F Brown Sounds good! I will
be sending Vassilios a copy of some of the information modelling done some time
back regarding standards but have to access it from an offline virtual machine
running the earlier prototype – I’ll keep you and Vassilios updated… Cheers, Peter Peter F Brown Independent

Borras [mailto:johnaborras@yahoo.co.uk] Maybe but at a later date for two reasons: First, we have to build the repository, they do not provide
it. They will only draw down links from it. Second, we are unlikely to be ready in time for their
phase 1 federation plans. But I’m copying Pim and Robin as it would be useful
for them to keep it in the back of their minds in their discussions with Joao
and Vassilios especially as I know Vassilios is very interested in it and is
waiting on us to share it with him. John From: Peter F

John, I’m wondering whether the list of policy products,
mapped to the matrix, wouldn’t make a good pilot for the cooperation
project on ADMS with the European Commission…? Peter Peter F Brown Independent Consultant P.O. Box 49719, Los Angeles, CA 90049,

On Behalf Of John Borras Hi All I meant to discuss
on our TC call yesterday the possibility of creating an online repository of
the Policy Products types but I forgot, apologies. I think we are
all agreed that trying to maintain the list of product types in a static Word
document and having to go through the whole approvals process each time we want
to make changes to that document is not the best way of handling this
requirement. I have suggested that we use the OASIS Wiki infrastructure
although there have been some reservations about that. Can I have you
views and alternative suggestions on this issue please as it would be good to
build the repository in parallel to the approval of the document so that
it’s usage can kick in immediately after the final approval. John CAUTION: This email message and any attachments contain information that may be confidential and may be LEGALLY PRIVILEGED.
