Subject: FW: [egov-ms] (PR) 30-day Public Review for (TGF) Tools and Models for the Business Management Framework: Volume 1 Using the Policy Product Matrix Version 1.0

The Public Review period has now closed and no comments have been received.
I have therefore set up an electronic ballot to move this forward for
approval as a Committee Note. A notice of the ballot will be sent to you
later today so please watch for this and cast your vote asap.

Subject: [egov-ms] (PR) 30-day Public Review for (TGF) Tools and Models for
the Business Management Framework: Volume 1 Using the Policy Product Matrix
Version 1.0

The OASIS Transformational Government Framework TC [1] members have recently
approved a Committee Note Draft (CND) and submitted this draft for 30-day
public review:

Transformational Government Framework (TGF) Tools and Models for the
Business Management Framework: Volume 1 Using the Policy Product Matrix
Version 1.0 Committee Note Draft 01 / Public Review Draft 01
15 March 2012

Overview:
The Committee Note, and the associated Wiki resource, contain detailed
information and guidance on using the Policy Products matrix in the Business
Management Framework, as identified in the TGF Primer and TGF Core Pattern
Language. It is the first in an intended series of Committee Notes providing
further guidance on the Business Management Framework. Policy Products are
the written policies, frameworks and standards which inform government
activity.

TC Description :
The Transformational Government TC advances an overall framework for using
information technology to improve the delivery of public services. Unlike
traditional e-Government strategies of the past, Transformational Government
begins with citizen engagement to assure greater use and return on
investment. The work of the TC includes defining the framework, identifying
use cases, and providing adoption guidance for governments around the world,
regardless of their history in implementing eGov.

Public Review Period:

The public review starts 21 April 2012 and ends 21 May 2012.

This is an open invitation to comment. OASIS solicits feedback from
potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for
the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical
work.
