Subject: FW: [tgf] FW: TGF Webinar Results
Carol Can you help with this idea please? Following our recent TGF webinar the proposal is to reach out to journalists to help raise the profile of the TGF. We did the Futuregov magazine in Asia not so long ago and it would be good to follow-up with similar outlets around the world, but definitely not Mr Mark Ballard at Computer Weekly!! The target would not be techie journals but more Government/public sector and/or business change ones. Any help would be appreciated, John -----Original Message----- From: Peter F Brown [mailto:peter@peterfbrown.com] Sent: 31 May 2012 00:31 To: Colin Wallis; 'John Borras'; 'TGF TC List' Subject: RE: [tgf] FW: TGF Webinar Results One thought: could we collectively prepare a list of journals and journalists and do a sort of webinar press briefing? Or at least a press pack? We could come up with something suitably dramatic as a headline attention grabber... -----Original Message----- From: tgf@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:tgf@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Colin Wallis Sent: Wednesday, 30 May, 2012 16:10 To: 'John Borras'; 'TGF TC List' Subject: RE: [tgf] FW: TGF Webinar Results Yep, we have got to tap into different sources beyond OASIS. Futuregov magazine attracts an Asia Pacific cluster - what is the equivalent in the UK and US? I suggest this because I just don't know of an online forum for these folks beyond the 4gov yahoo group which is the same Asia Pacific constituency. I am thinking OECD but.... But perhaps there's some hidden benefits that we will reap in due course. Clearly we didn't reach the new movers and shakers that we were after but no doubt they are too busy to attend these sort of events. Stay positive, onward and upward, I suppose is the message. Here are the webinar output documents. They are pretty straight forward. The TGF-Webinar-May-2012 is a list of all folks that registered and you can see that they either attended or did not attend. The other 'download' file is the list of people that have downloaded the recorded version on GoToMeetings so far. Let me know if you have questions.
